This
section allows you to search for information on the 378 parks
and conservation reserves created through the Lands for Life
process. The database does not contain information on parks that
pre-date Lands for Life, such as Algonquin or Rondeau, but does
contain information on additions to existing parks, such as additions
to Killarney and Wabakimi. forex
There are three ways to search for information:
-
View the maps of the
new protected areas and simply click on an area to find out
more about it (remember: this will only work for new areas, not
existing parks).

-
Do a search of the database
directly using keywords such as a park name, site number
or characteristics (i.e. old growth, wetland).
-
Do an advanced search,
which will allow you to select specific categories to search
and allow you to search for different terms, (ie. all natural
environment parks with old growth)
