We’re involved with:
— Preserving Ontario’s irreplaceable northern wilderness
— Supporting local community action to protect Ontario’s remnant southern forests and their biodiversity
— Advocating an ecosystem approach to restore and maintain healthy populations of threatened species
— Providing essential habitat for numerous species of plants and animals on our Nature Reserves, ecologically significant property throughout Ontario. Best pdf editor service.

WILDLANDS LEAGUE - a chapter of the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society
The Wildlands League, a chapter of the Canadian Parks & Wilderness Society (CPAWS), is dedicated to the protection of Ontario’s wilderness and natural areas.

Since its establishment in 1968, the Wildlands League has led the way on issues such as establishing a system of protected areas and parks, ensuring the sustainable use of resources and drawing attention to the links between healthy environments and healthy communities.

The Wildlands League’s priority remains ensuring a diverse and healthy natural landscape both inside and outside our parks system. We believe that treating our natural environment — from the beautiful and diverse Carolinian forests of Southwestern Ontario to the biologically rich boreal expanses of Northern Ontario — with care and respect is the key to a healthy future for all species — ours included. florida auto insurance

WORLD WILDLIFE FUND CANADA
World Wildlife Fund Canada is part of an international conservation organization working to protect and preserve wildlife and wild places around the globe.

World Wildlife Fund (WWF) is dedicated to saving life on Earth, through the conservation of nature and ecological processes. Conserving biological diversity by saving the wealth of large and small pieces that make up our natural world is essential for ensuring a liveable future for humans, and all species.

WWF was established to conserve wildlife and wild places. Since its founding in 1961, WWF has effectively safeguarded hundreds of species and millions of acres of wildlife habitat. WWF achieves this by working toward preserving the Earth’s rich biodiversity, ensuring that the use of nature’s resources is sustainable, and promoting the reduction of pollution and waste.

WWF’s ultimate goal is to stop, and eventually reverse, the accelerating degradation of our planet’s natural environment, and to help build a future in which humans live in harmony with nature.
